The automated payment system for the Bishkek-Osh highway is built on ISBC RFID equipment The testing phase of the automated payment system for passage through tunnels with an electronic barrier at the post Sosnovka (81 km) of the Bishkek-Osh road was launched in the Kyrgyz Republic. The consortium "KBM-Akfort-Delta Profi" built a solution on the ISBC RFID Technologies for the State Directorate of the Bishkek-Osh highway.

On the post installed sensors that automatically determine the dimensions of the vehicle. CCTV cameras fix the number of the car, then the numbers are recognized. Based on the dimensions and the country of registration of the car, the fare is calculated. Before the car owner, the number of the car and the fare on the information board are displayed. Data on all trips are transmitted to the Central server of the State Directorate of the Bishkek-Osh highway. The same equipment is installed at 391 km at the post "Kara-Kul".

ISBC RFID equipment provides automatic admission of cars with RFID tags through the point of travel. The use of radio frequency identification makes it possible to identify the transport unerringly. Applicable readers have special encryption functions, which guarantees authenticity. All attempts to copy or forge the label become useless.

"Radio frequency identification technologies are the optimal solution for automated transportation passes through payment centers on toll roads. The signal from the passive RFID tag of the UHF frequency range fixed on the car glass is adopted by a special reader. After identifying and writing off the fee, a barrier is automatically opened in front of the car. Together with KBM, ISBC implements RFID technologies in the Kyrgyz Republic and continues to develop the RFID market for Russia and the CIS countries, "said Andrei Krasovsky, Ph.D., Head of the ISBC Radio Frequency Identification Department.
