ESMART® Reader DESKTOP provides mobile access control
ISBC Group developed a new control reader for mobile access control systems. ESMART® Reader DESKTOP provides the registration of passive credentials and virtual cards on smartphones in the ACS. The device connects to PC by USB.
Identification by smartphones demonstrates a significant growth in the access control market. Research company IHS Markit predicts that about 136 million virtual identifiers will be used by 2020.
Mobile devices with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) provide reliable identification at a distance of up to 10 meters without approaching to the reader. Smartphones easily replace passes increasing the visitors’ loyalty and reducing access card costs. Secure ESMART® Access mobile app with AES encryption prevents signal interception, cloning or identity hacking, providing high security.
ESMART® Reader DESKTOP complements ACS product range produced by ISBC. The device allows registering virtual cards in smartphones and all ISO14443A\MIFARE credentials: smart cards, RFID key fobs AIRTAG®, RFID wristbands SILITAG®.There is a possibility of emulation settings in any Wiegand format, adding prefixes and postfixes to read data, the Facility and Bolid format emulation.
"ESMART® Reader DESKTOP allows our customers to manage ACS directly from the administrator's workstation. The reader is compatible with ESMART® and other access control systems. The main feature of our product is the connection to smartphone via Bluetooth Low Energy, which adds mobile access to IOS and Android devices," said Dmitry Kornienko, CMO of the ISBC Group.
