ISBC became the first company in Russia to receive the right for livestock identification
For the first time in Russia, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) granted an independent organization the official right to identify livestock. Within the framework of ISBC pilot projects, it is planned to create electronic systems for identification and registration of animals, providing radio frequency (RFID) identification for veterinary, zootechnical and breeding purposes.
ISBC and Rosselkhoznadzor signed the first Cooperation Agreement in Russia. Within the framework of the project, ISBC provides individual or group identification, registration and marking of productive animals belonging to agricultural organizations of all forms of ownership. The company provides tagging facilities with assigned unique identification numbers and ensures the entry of information about animals in the automated information system.
In addition to the direct implementation of the identification projects, ISBC has received the right to consult on issues of livestock identification and registration, as well as the preparation of proposals to the draft Veterinary Rules for the identification and registration of animals. The introduction of radio frequency identification will be the basis for the development and growth of Russian livestock.
"Improving the efficiency of animal husbandry is impossible without modern digital technologies. Accurate accounting and control of all parameters requires the integration of information systems with real objects, it is necessary to identify each animal. This is the foundation for the entire industry. ISBC's RFID identification solutions transform the farm into a modern automated complex with high efficiency, which allows to improve the quality characteristics of livestock," said Alexey Antonov, Director of the ISBC Livestock ID Department.
